These terms apply when you join a loyalty program run by a business that uses Posoda. The business you are buying from operates the program and decides how points are earned and what rewards are offered. Posoda provides the software that runs it and stores the records on that business's behalf.
Last updated 2 August 2026. If we change these terms in a way that affects your rights, we will ask you to accept the new version before you continue earning or redeeming.
You can join by giving your name and either an email address or a mobile number to a member of staff, or by signing up online. We send a six-digit code to whichever you provide, and the account is only created once you enter that code. This confirms the contact details belong to you.
Providing your date of birth is optional. If you do provide it, the business may use it to give you a birthday reward. You must be at least 16 years old to join.
You do not have to agree to receive marketing to join the program. Agreeing to these terms and agreeing to marketing are two separate choices, and declining marketing will never stop you joining, earning points, or redeeming a reward.
If you do opt in, you can opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any message we send, or by asking any member of staff at the business. We record when you opted in and act on a withdrawal promptly.
Points are earned on qualifying purchases at the rate the business sets. The business may run multipliers at particular times, on particular days, or for particular items, and may offer bonus points — for example, for completing your profile. The rate, the name of the points unit, and any tiers are set by the business and can change.
Points have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be transferred to another person. They are not legal tender and are not a stored-value or gift-card product.
Points can be redeemed against the rewards the business publishes. Depending on how the business has configured the program, rewards may apply automatically once you qualify or may need to be selected at the counter, and partial redemption may or may not be allowed. A reward applied to a sale is used at the moment the sale is paid.
Vouchers issued to you may carry their own expiry date and conditions, which are shown on the voucher.
Points may expire if the business has set an expiry period and your account is inactive for that long. Where we hold an email address for you and the business has enabled reminders, we will try to warn you before points expire.
A business may suspend or close an account it reasonably believes is being used fraudulently, and may end the program. If a program ends, the business should give reasonable notice and a reasonable opportunity to use points already earned. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.
Joining the program means the business holds your name, the contact details you gave, a record of your purchases at that business, your points balance, and anything you asked staff to note — for example, a dietary requirement. Where you gave a date of birth, that is held too.
The business is responsible for how it uses that information. Posoda stores and processes it on the business's instructions. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data, who we share it with, and how long we keep it.
You can ask for a copy of the information held about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask to stop receiving marketing, or ask for your loyalty account to be deleted. Ask any member of staff at the business, or contact us at support@posoda.com and we will pass the request on. Deleting your loyalty account forfeits any unredeemed points.
Questions about points, rewards, or a specific transaction are best directed to the business you bought from — they run the program. For questions about how Posoda handles your data, contact support@posoda.com.
