Terms of use

Posoda's terms of use are our contract with you. They include our commitment as a service provider and your obligations as a customer.

Introduction

Welcome to Posoda! We are thrilled to have you on board, but before you start using Posoda, we kindly request you to review and accept the following terms. We have taken great care to present them in a clear and straightforward manner, without using excessive technical language, to ensure both your understanding of our expectations and what you can expect from us.

Please take the time to read through all the terms, as they outline your legal rights and responsibilities. By using our services, you are agreeing to abide by these terms.

If you have any questions or comments after reviewing the terms, don't hesitate to reach out to us through admin@posoda.com. We are here to assist you and provide any necessary help.

Joining and using Posoda

  1. You and Posoda:
  2. When we say "you" or "your," we mean both you and any entity or firm you are authorized to represent. When we say "Posoda," "we," "our," or "us," we are referring to the Posoda entity you contract with and pay fees to based on the edition of the Posoda product you are using. Please refer to Section 66 to identify the specific Posoda entity you contract with.

  3. Our Services:
  4. Our services include all the offerings we currently provide or may offer in the future, encompassing our online and mobile accounting and financial products.

  5. Creating a Subscription:
  6. When you create a subscription and accept these terms, you become a subscriber. As the subscriber, you are responsible for paying for your subscription.

  7. People Invited to Use Posoda:
  8. An invited user is someone other than the subscriber who has received an invitation to use our services through a subscription. If you are an invited user, you must also accept these terms to utilize our services.

  9. User Roles and Access:
  10. As a subscriber inviting others to join your subscription, it is essential to understand the permissions you grant to invited users. Information about user roles and levels of access can be found on Posoda Central. If you are a small business invited user and your advisor is the subscriber, you can find more details on how that works on Posoda Central.

  11. Online Payments:
  12. If you choose to connect your subscription to Stripe (enabling you to accept online payments from customers through your Posoda invoices), please read our additional online payments terms.

  13. The Right to Use Our Services:
  14. Whether you are a subscriber or an invited user, we grant you the right to use our services based on your subscription type, user role, and level of access granted. This right remains valid as long as the subscriber continues to pay for the subscription, until the subscription is terminated, or until your access, as an invited user, is revoked.

  15. Subscriber Role:
  16. As a subscriber, you have full control over the management of your subscription and who can access it. This responsibility includes the ability to transfer a subscription, control access, decide who is invited to use our services under your subscription, and determine the access level of invited users. You are also responsible for resolving any disputes with invited users regarding access to your subscription, as well as for all activity conducted by your invited users.

  17. Rules
  18. Regardless of your role, when using Posoda, you agree to follow the rules outlined in Section 46. Please read and ensure your understanding of what is expected and what actions are not permitted.

  19. Your Responsibilities:
  20. You promise to keep your information, including a current email address, up to date. Providing true, accurate, and complete information and verifying the accuracy of any information used from our services for legal, tax, and compliance obligations is your responsibility. Additionally, you must protect your username and password from theft or misuse. Our service has minimum password standards, but it is crucial to ensure strong and not easily guessable passwords for enhanced security. For more information on security, refer to the security section below.

  21. Introduction of New or Revised Services:
  22. As we are continually striving to improve Posoda, we frequently expand our services with new or updated offerings. For such services, additional terms may apply, which will be communicated to you before you start using them.

  23. What We Own:
  24. We own all the content within our services unless otherwise stated and excluding content owned by others. This includes rights in the design, compilation, and look and feel of our services, as well as all copyrighted works, trademarks, designs, inventions, and other intellectual property. You agree not to copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any of our content or use any of our intellectual property rights in any way not expressly permitted by us.
